LIBA – Lingener Baumaschinen is an owner-managed family business from Lingen (Ems), now in its third generation of family leadership. We design and manufacture trench cutters deployed in over 60 countries for fibre optic, energy, utility and civil engineering projects.

What began in 1969 as a repair and engineering workshop in Lingen has grown into one of Europe's most specialised trench-cutter manufacturers.
Today LIBA carries out design, welding, hydraulic integration and final assembly entirely in-house — under one roof, now led by the third generation of the founding family. Our machines are not consumer goods. They are working tools capable of decades of deployment — and that is the standard applied to every weld, every hose and every bearing that leaves our factory.
